El verbo inglés to find significa «encontrar» en español. Es un verbo irregular, lo que significa que sus formas de pasado simple y participio pasado no siguen la regla estándar de añadir -ed y deben memorizarse. Significa encontrar algo, a menudo por casualidad. Find out significa descubrir información. Pasado y participio: found. No confundir con found (fundar), que es un verbo diferente.

Errores frecuentes
Olvidar la -s de la tercera persona: He find en vez de He finds
Correcto: He/She/It finds
En el present simple, la tercera persona del singular (he/she/it) siempre añade -s o -es al verbo. Es el error más frecuente entre hispanohablantes.
Regularizar el pasado: finded en vez de found
Correcto: Past simple: found — Past participle: found
«find» es irregular: sus formas de pasado no siguen la regla estándar de añadir -ed. Deben aprenderse de memoria.
Formar preguntas sin do/does: You find? en vez de Do you find?
Correcto: Do you find? / Does he/she find?
En español, la pregunta se forma con la entonación. En inglés, el present simple y past simple necesitan el auxiliar do/does/did para preguntas y negaciones.
Confundir present simple con present continuous: I find vs I am finding
Correcto: Hábito/general → I find | Ahora mismo → I am finding
